The Teddy Bear Class

This is a fun room with a LOT of activity! The room is divided into two parts and the children are divided into two groups. The younger group and the older group. The younger children are those that are 12 - 18 months and the older group is 18 - 24 months. Their abilities are so different at this age that we have found grouping them helps the younger ones "have a chance" to achieve and gives the older ones "room" to explore and grow at their own rate. Each group does a teaching time with their own crafts and activities. And each group has play time on both sides of the room. The children do have lunch, nap, and outside play time together. We feel this is a good balance between learning to play with peers and having their own space to grow and develop.
